FAQ
The session begins with questions about the patient’s pain, restrictions, and medical history. We take into account your current condition, physical capacity, and needs before establishing your future goals. During the clinical examination, a series of tests will also be conducted to establish a diagnosis. Treatment comes after the evaluation, involving myofascial techniques, thrusts, dry needling, and cupping, which are used depending on the diagnosis. At the end of the session, with the previously set goals, follow-up is provided for the patient. The follow-up can range from additional treatment sessions with advised preventive exercises to full training sessions for optimizing movement.
Depending on the diagnosis made before the treatment and the established goals, a session can last up to about 30 minutes.

In Belgium, osteopathy is generally not covered by mandatory Health Insurance (INAMI). However, some complementary health insurance funds (private insurers) offer partial reimbursements or benefits for osteopathic treatments. Reimbursements and specific conditions vary from one insurance provider to another, so it’s important to consult your insurance provider to know the exact details of the osteopathic coverage they offer.

It is not necessary to have a medical prescription. However, if you have undergone additional medical tests, it is advisable to bring the test results to your appointment to provide additional information.
